“ My coworker mentioned this place, that it was pretty good bowls. I saw that I could order online, giving 30 minutes for pickup. When I came to pick it up, I saw that it was super crowded. While my food wasn't ready, I wasn't in a rush. They made my bowl on the spot and they gave it to me right away. I ordered the Tokyo Trouble bowl, but adjusted it to what I liked. It came with fresh avocado, seaweed salad, tobiko, cucumbers, edamame, tempura shrimp, chicken, tamago, and brown rice. The tempura shrimp was actually really good. It was crispy and not soggy like I thought it would be. The bowl was actually super filling, as I couldn't even finish the whole thing. It was about $13 for the bowl, which is standard for the middle of downtown SF. It's right by my work, so I'd probably order ahead so I can pick it up again. They seem to have other options, like Indian and Vietnamese, that I'd like to try too. ”

“ I came here with some coworkers and was using MealPal but at their 7th street location in SoMa. Hannah was awesome and absolutely amazing with setting me up. Great hospitality and great food. Really enjoyed it. Here is my remains, got the beef with noodles and spicy peanut sauce. Delicious ”

“ Interesting Asian place serving Salad Bowls and Rice Bowls, from three flavor packed Asian Destinations - Vietnam, Japan and India. It's great to have these three awesome flavor profiles under one roof. Great efficient service, decent food and variety earns this place 4 stars! I had the Sari Salad, which was an Indian Salad Bowl with Paneer, Cauliflower, Spring Mix, Avocados, Tamarind Sauce, Corn and Crispy Indian Sev Namkeen. The Crispy Sev makes the bowl stand out - great flavor, so much crunch and great texture. The Tamarind sauce was too sweet for my taste buds. Overall good flavors, though nothing out of the world! ”

“ One of the finest Asian cuisine restaurant in the town. This place is insanely crowded during lunch hours, so in case you're not having a time constraint, you can check it out before or after those hours. Food: Bamboo Asia has three options as far as the cuisine goes - Indian, Vietnamese and Japanese. I have tried Vietnamese and Indian rice bowls and loved it. They have a large variety of options on what you want to add to your bowls in terms of choice of rice, proteins, veggies, sauces and toppings. So, essentially, you have a good amount of control on what you are eating. One can also make out that the ingredients are fresh, partly also because of good churn. Ambiance: If you're visiting this place in the noon hours, expect it to be really cramped and be ready for long queues on any counter you visit. It is not a fine dining restaurant and most of the people go for a take away but there are good number of seating options in case you want to have your meal there itself. In non-rush hours, the place is quite spacious and the glass wall ensures enough natural light. Service: They are quite quick in terms of turnaround time for customers. It is not a fine dining restaurant but has more of a subway style set up where you just tell them what you want to add in your salad/rice bowl or sandwich and they'll add that. The staff is good and helpful. Overall, it is a very good restaurant that people must try at least once or twice. ”

“ I had not been to this place in a while & to my surprise they upgraded their menu, it's way better than before! Plus they got really friendly staff! Don't get me started with the food! Lets just say theirs a reason why i give this place five stars if i could give it more than that i would! It's that good! ”

“ If you want to take a quick lunch, this restaurant is a good choice. They serve Japanese, Indian, and Vietnamese dishes. Price is affordable and staffs prepare foods quickly. My favorite one is Poke bowl in Japanese foods area. Usually, I choose salmon and spicy tuna for protein, and tamago, seaweeds, and edamame for sides. The inside the restaurant renovated recently, so a little bit better compared to before. Btw, I said this place is restaurant, but actually, they are like a small food court for Asian foods. It’s good for daily use :) ”

“ This restaurant was very delicious! They have it set up to where whatever type of food you want, you enter that line for that type of food. I chose to eat an Indian rice bowl. It is an assembly line style, so you can also create your own. The lines went very quickly and I got my lunch very fast. The price is reasonable because the ingredients are very fresh. I really enjoyed the meal. It comes in a big portion so I saved some of mine to eat as a snack later. Overall, a really good restaurant, nice people, great service, and quick for lunch! ”
